Take your cold process soap-making skills to a creative level with the SSDA Artistic Cold Process Soap Workshop in Dubai.

This is a practical, design-focused workshop where you will learn how to transform cold process soap into detailed artistic pieces inspired by landscapes, night skies, nature and architecture.

Across three days, you will work alongside SSDA instructor Bella and practise different artistic techniques through hands-on soap-making. The focus is on learning how to control colour, layers, movement, texture and fine details to create visually striking soap designs.

You don't need to simply watch demonstrations — you will actively practise the techniques and create the featured designs during the workshop.

During the three-day experience, you will explore a collection of artistic soap designs, including:

Create a dramatic night-inspired composition using colour, layers and detailed design elements.

Explore detailed colour placement and artistic composition to create a striking tiger-inspired design.

🌅 Sunset Soap

Learn how to create a beautiful sunset scene using colour transitions, layering and landscape composition.

🏔️ Cave Soap

Work with darker tones, depth, texture and perspective to create a natural cave-inspired design.

🌌 Vertical Aurora Soap

Discover how to create flowing colour movement inspired by the northern lights.

Create a landscape-inspired soap design influenced by the beautiful scenery and architecture of AlUla.

You will also explore SSDA signature finishing techniques to give your creations a refined final appearance.

Designs may be subject to practical workshop arrangements.

Workshop Outline

Day 1 — Building the Design

Begin with the foundations of artistic cold process soap design and start working with colour, composition and layered structures.

You will practise techniques used to create landscape and nature-inspired designs.

Day 2 — Artistic Details & Advanced Designs

Continue developing your designs through colour blending, gradients, depth, perspective, texture and decorative details.

You will work on more detailed compositions and learn how small changes in colour and placement can transform the final soap.

Day 3 — Finishing & Final Creations

Complete the remaining design work and focus on finishing techniques, surface details and presentation.

You will review the techniques used throughout the workshop and gain a better understanding of how to apply them when creating your own future designs.
